Crafting, Recipes, and Other
Homemaking Specialties
Please Note: I'm more of a Martha-Wannabe rather than a Martha-in-the-Making.
While I love crafting, cooking, gardening, home decor, and tablescapes, I'm not exactly the best person for the job.  But that doesn't stop me from trying!

Here's how this is going to work... I'm going to post all of my crafting/design/baking plans with their original pictures, and then as I actually create them (which will probably take me a while), I will post photos of what these things look like when made by unskilled hands.  It's going to be a really fun(ny) endeavor, rest assured.  But you know what they say, practice makes perfect!

I don't know where it originally came from, but it looks easy enough.

8.  Tea Cup and Sauce Cake Stand
Now this is on sale at Anthro, but I'm confident something similar could be
crafted together out of antique tea cups and saucers that would be just as cute,
if not cuter.  We'll see what we find in the future.

9. In This House Canvas
Found on Pinterest -- Working on my own version, as we speak!

RECIPES
1. Perfect Iced Coffee as designed by The Pioneer Woman
I actually tried this recipe a couple of days ago.  Unfortunately, my schedule got a bit busy and I forgot I had put it in the fridge to steep until 48 hours later, as opposed to the recommended 8 hours of steeping.  Needless to say, while I love strong coffee, my first batch of cold-brew was a bit too biting for my taste.  Lesson learned.

2. Roasted Avacado Couscous Salad
Recipe found at The Stone Soup Blog

3. Banana Bread Pancakes
Recipe via How Sweet It Is

4. Tomato/Caprese Bites -- Favorite

5. Inside-Out Carrot Cake Muffins from King Arthur Flour

6. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake Bars
(They look incredible and not too terribly difficult to make at all!)
Recipe from Brandy's Baking
